In her Milan studio, Pivetta has been studying and creating sculptures for years, experimenting with various materials. She is particularly attracted to matter that transforms at high temperatures. She melts cast iron to create walkable floors, creates sculptural and wall elements in ceramic, has built architectural elements like stairs, doorways and gates with iron. She also designs unique and fine jewels in enamelled copper.
